Monitoring - Following the recent Critical Vulnerability Alert, from the US NIST and the French CERT on 10 December 2021, in the open-source Apache “Log4j 2" library, MANGOPAY has been assessing the impacts of this vulnerability on its systems:

- We can confirm that this vulnerability does not impact our API code exposed to our customers.
- However, some of the tools and pieces of software used internally could be impacted by this vulnerability. We are working with the different providers and software publishers to identify eventual vulnerabilities and roll out patches as soon as available.

As this event is ongoing, we will keep providing regular updates on this API Status thread.

Resolved - This incident was generated by a production release by a vendor of our PSP Partner which impacted the GIROPAY flow.
Said vendor released a fix in production at 09:45 UTC on 27/09.
Since then the Giropay flow is back to a nominal state.

- "The transaction has been cancelled by the user" / 101002

Errors since the 19/09 09:10 AM UTC.

These disturbances are due to an issue with our PSP component.

Monitoring - A fix has been implemented by the Acquisition Bank. We see an improvement in the error rates on our side since 09:40 AM UTC.

Identified - The issue has been identified at the level of the Acquisition Bank. Their tech teams are working on a fix.

Investigating - You may experience Errors on Payments since 19:09 UTC. with the following error messages returned:

• Transaction refused by the bank (card limit reached)
• Secure mode: The 3DSecure authentication has failed
• Secure mode: The 3DSecure authentication session has expired
• PSP configuration error

These disturbances are potentially due to an issue with an Acquisition bank.
